Cloverfield
My sister and I went to see Cloverfield last night. It was released here in the UK on Friday and had been hyped to the max. I wanted to see this movie bad because it was from none other than JJ Abrahams of Lost fame and I really love Lost, so I thought I would give this movie a go and I'm glad I did!!
It was brilliant.
It's not your run of the mill storylines where you have an actual story to follow, no explanations are giving to what the monster is, it's simply seen through the eyes of 5 friends and their video camera.
I'm not going to ruin it for people who haven't seen it yet, but I would highly recommend this movie to everyone. It's only 83mins long and it will take you on a ride that makes you believe you're actually part of the movie itself.
