Heroes
This show hasn't even aired yet here in the UK, but thanks to FlickerFlucker I have been able to download the episodes and watch them and I am so glad I did!! Not since Lost have I been so into a tv program and I personally believe Heroes is giving Lost a run for it's money.
The series tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realize they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind.The series loosely follows the writing style of American comics by doing short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc.
I love the comic book feel to the whole show, kind of reminds me of Sin City slightly and even though it's taking it's time introducing the characters and what each of them can do, it already has us all hooked with some great story lines.
It's currently gone on hiatus in the US and won't start up again until January. UK audiences will see it being aired on BBC 2 in the new year, but if you can't wait until then you can download then as I did from FlickerFlucker or any P2P sharing program.
I highly recomend you start watching and get caught up on the past 11 episodes, you won't be sorry.
