Urban Dream Capsule
Reality television is being taken to the streets, more specifically in Shanghai.
In almost a Big Brother fashion, four Australian men will live in a 650-square-foot glass capsule, decorated in a Shanghainese theme, from 17 June to 1 July and the public will be able to watch them do everything. Eat, sleep, bathe...
The four men are known as the Urban Dream Capsule and this is what they do for their bread and butter.
The don't draw curtains or turn lights off and from the time they get up till the time they go to bed, they are on display.
People, being the dirty perverts they are, like watching the men shower, so they perform this ritual twice a day although if the chinese are looking for dangly bits they'll be sorely disappointed as the glass is frosted. Awwwww.
The Urban Dream Capsule have performed shows in Canada, Belgium, Ireland and Brazil to name just a few places and I remember seeing them in Perth back in 2001 for the International Arts Festival and they're well worth a look in.
