Spamapalooza

Today I don't have much of anything to say, kind of like the last few days really.

One thing that has grabbed my attention is the amount of freaking spam that's running rife on the internet. It's a Spamalanche, a Spamnami, dare I say it... a Spamdemic.

Now that I've covered some of the new potential catch phrases, and god I hope they take off because the word "splog" brings to mind thoughts of porn tapes filled with snowballing and splooge and first thing in the morning I find it hard to keep the nausea down and that doesn't help, it's really reaching critical proportions.

In the two months I was banned, I pretty much neglected Lint. I didn't come in a lot other than to reply to the odd comment or two as I was too busy doing other things to worry about a site that wasn't doing much anywho, but the night before I was due to come back online I thought I'd do a bit of housekeeping.

First, I thought it would be a good idea to check for spam on the posts here and 1,083 spam comments and 438 spam trackbacks later, I'd finally deleted all the shit that people had left on here, thereby leaving only my own shit for me to deal with.

Now that I'm working for BlogAdvance, I have the opportunity to view even MORE spam because now the idiots are trying to join their (ugh) splogs up and is it just me or do they seem to come in groups? You never see just one; like a load of Spamatazoa it hits you in the face when you least expect it and it gangs up on you.

On to lighter things.

From the incredible mind of Mr Snarff who stole the idea from Mr E who stole the idea off The Wench, I now give you my list of things that piss me off:

1. Fucking lists. Why the hell should I have to think up things that piss me off and further inflame other readers when the fact that I purely exist is enough to wreck the day of some people.
