A week ago, Jeff from BlogExplosion said that something big was coming that would leave sites like BlogAdvance trailing behind blah blah blah wank wank ad nauseum.
Little did we know that this "something big" was, in fact, that Jeff was going to CLONE BLOGADVANCE!
Yes, that's right!
It all started on August 4 2005 when BlogAdvance opened up a forum. It was going so well that Jeff decided to copy the idea.
Jeff never had a forum till BlogAdvance had one but September 9 2005 he did, claiming that it was all behind the scenes and had been in the pipeline for quite some time. Well Jeff, all I can say to that is "bullshit" and that I've had a lot of fun watching you flounder with your forum. Lets be real here, everyone with eyes and a brain can see that you've got the market when it comes to traffic exchanges but you can't be happy with that, you had to steal from an up and coming site that had some luck with their forum and you wanted it for yourself.
I checked today. Over 14,000 members on your forum and you had 2 members and 3 guests and I was one of those guests. Pretty fucken sad.
Then BlogAdvance came out with Blog Hosting along the same lines as Blogger and well looky here. Suddenly you're going to do it too! Cloning BA again! Aren't you so clever! Copying and stealing other people's ideas and pretending they're your own.
I have just one question, we're aware of the fact that you haven't allowed any BlogLegion accounts to become members of BE because BlogLegion is run by BlogAdvance. When you have your own blog hosting service running, does this mean that you're going to delete people with Blogger accounts? Isn't that going to be the competition too? Or is it only with BlogLegion that you're going to be petty?
Now you're coming out with Image Hosting. Something that BlogAdvance has had since the 27th October but oh LOOK! You've been working on that "behind the scenes" for three weeks. What you probably don't know is the coder responsible for the program has had it running for quite some time and it only took him 2 days to create it. Three weeks Jeff? Either you're lying or you've got some pretty shit coders working for you.
After threatening other people about stealing your ideas, I find your business practises, morals and ethics laughable and not worth the cyberspace it was typed upon. No one's stealing your sorry shit. Most people are whining about how unfair the Battle of the Blogs is. Who'd want to mess with something that's going to inevitably fail because of the cliques and their cheating? Not anyone I know.
You're a little commie bastard, Jeff. You can't be happy with what you've got you have to take from other people too. You steal other people's ideas and implement them into your site and palm it off as your own work but people are taking notice, Jeff. Every day more and more people are complaining about your ethics and your censorship and you're starting to wear thin on people.
Bloggers are all about freedom of speech and having the freedom to blog about whatever they want and you're trying to take it away from them and bloggers are really resenting it.
It's sweet that you've got your little bum chums coming over to spy and cause shit over at BlogAdvance, but the last laugh is constantly at you. You slag BlogAdvance off in your shoutbox where all your little cronies all sit like little old ladies lapping up your bullshit because you know it's the only place where people are going to pay attention to you.
We're all laughing ourselves silly over your claims of having 30,000 + members. Your stalwart buddies may have trouble doing the math but the smarter people around the Blogosphere can count. How is it that you claim to have 30,000+ members in your exchange yet only 14,000+ on your forum? You yourself said that it was all integrated in such a way that people on the traffic exchange automatically became members of the forum and I've had people come back telling me about Rachel talking about how she's adding NEW sites every day. So if NEW sites are being added every day, how come it's not at say.... 50,000 (give or take a few hundred) now?
You're a lying sack of shit and you're losing quality blogs at a rapid rate of knots.

I think it's disgusting that BlogAdvance have actually gone out of their way to make sure that they copied absolutely nothing from Blog Explosion, yet Jeff thinks he can take what he wants. BlogAdvance have nothing like BotB, Blog Rocket or Rent My Blog and BlogAdvance can sit back knowing that what they achieved was done fairly and through genuine hard work. The fact that Jeff takes from the one "trouble" site that didn't copy him reeks of bullshit and I'll keep doing this till everyone knows what a slimy little scumbag he is. You thought I was a troublemaker before? Watch me now.

I find all of it very illuminating. Jeff just changes the story around to suit his needs and I'm swiftly coming to the conclusion that he's got an advisor around telling him what to say because first he says totally inane shit that doesn't even make sense and contradicts himself and makes useless threats, then he comes out with half lucid explanations that are just too damn late because he's already made a mess of things.
In a way I feel guilty about this because it's like picking on the dumbest kid in the class when you're the teacher.

This was an incredible post. Already Jeff is going around claiming BE's new features were planned weeks, even months ago.
What I would like to hear from BE is an explanation as to what that Random Blogs thing is in their sidebar? (This has been posted at boycottbe.blogspot.com.) Was the random list a way to promote Rachel's blogs? Why did she show up so often in the number one position? What contempt does BE have for its users when it sets up a "feature" to promote their blogs and then applies it using principles of cronyism? Did BE think their users were too stupid to notice this?
I myself have seen Rachel in that list more often than statistics would allow. I also noticed after the exposé at boycottbe that Rachel's name quietly disappeared from the randoms. What does BE have by way of explanation?
There's a post in the BE forum by Rachel saying "I never ever promoted my blog from day one...." So who is doing it?

As to who is doing all the weird and questionable promotion on the BE home page, I am not sure Random BE User. Seems an awful lot goes on over there where no one has a reasonable explanation for anything.

I'm getting pretty sick of BE. It is like a multi-national company, and its ethics match it to a tee. BA is more community minded and it shows in people who actually participate in the forum discussion.
As a member of BE, I have to tread around lightly with what I say, risking the wrath of BE's cronies.

Tickles I think it's a blessing that Jeff hasn't put his shit all over my blog (well not recently). I know it's being read though which provides me with some entertainment, but I'm really not interested in anything they have to say. Besides, I think Jeff learned not to fight against me because it always takes him ages to come back with a retort. He's full of shit, I know he's full of shit and he knows I know.

Mandy, I could tell you some real strnage stuff. I've been keeping a real close eye on their stats and I've been talking to other people and it's real funny how they go into this downward decline every month and then BAM they suddenly peak again.

Their rotation is full of shit now, I get complaints from various people all the time and I don't know... it's almost like they're BUYING traffic what with those peaks etc... it's certainly strange.
Croaker, I had this pic taken for a very good friend of mine who has a "flip me the bird" page but I was trying to look all serious and then when this came up I thought it'd be perfect.
