Stuff

It's funny how one of the most common reasons for owning a blog is so you can use it as a journal, but there are still some things that are so bad going on in your life that you're afraid to blog about it because what you're going through is already so real that to put it down where you can read it only makes things worse.

I spent almost a week staring at a writer's block brick wall where I haven't been able to blog about anything at all, so I'm hoping that being a lazy bitch and just copying shit from other blogs will give me the kickstart I need so I'm not stuck looking at the same thing every time I come in here. For the last 5 days I've entered this area with a feeling of guilt and I need to get over it.

So... Snarff was all happy because someone he doesn't know very well linked to him. He already has a little fan base going and he was chuffed that someone other than us mentioned him so I went to look. The blog that made his day was LisaSaarloos.Net - This Could Get Ugly and while I was reading the entry she had a community announcement in there.

Seeing as my stumbling block has to do with a young girl, I'm hoping this will maybe help so I'm going to do my bit too.

Emails about a young girl orphaned by last year's Indian Ocean tsunami and being cared for at Phuket International Hospital are still circulating several months after the fact. No longer stranded in Thailand, 10-year-old Sophia Michl was identified from photos circulating on the Internet by a co-worker of her father and returned to Germany, her native country. Her parents, unfortunately, were never found.

Fingers crossed this works...

EDIT: I checked on Urban Legends and put Phuket into the search engine just to make sure and not only did I learn that there are some funky ass sea creatures roaming waters surrounding my country but I also found out that the Missing Girl was found.

Oooh, I used to read Lisa's blog all the time. I lost the address at one point. Yay! I can find it again. :)

You know the photo of the girl freaked me out. Anyways, I'm back in the blogging world! And you're back too! I'm sorry I kind of didn't keep my promise as to be the first person to welcome you back.

Dr. Fil

It's okay Dr Fil, I know deep deep down you love me and stuff.

Courtney, glad I could be of help, but ultimately you have to thank Mr E from http://ensellitis.com

We're like a big ass chain these days, huh. Everyone's connected to someone.
