Bored?

What has 131 levels, over 4 million players and has probably been responsible for more than one suicide?

If you've tried the Crimson Room, the Viridian Room and the Blue Room and thought they were a walk in the park then I challenge you to wrap your head around Not Pron.

Created by some twisted fuck, millions of people have been trying or have solved this since August of 2004 but I was not made aware of it's existence until a Club Lint member posted it in the forum describing it as the hardest riddle on the internet and seeing as I love a challenge, I jumped at the chance to solve the puzzle.

At first it seemed easy. Together with my partner in crime (hereby referred to as Yoda Jack) we managed to blitz a fair number of levels and in our travels we managed to pick up a hitch hiker (we'll call him Lil Scottish Snookums David) and it's taken us a week to get to level 25.

Jack has managed to give himself migraines and a touch of tunnel vision during our odyssey and I've shed a few tears and wish I'd never seen the stupid link in the first place. David is quiet but it's not like he's pushing to finish the puzzle either. We're not hardcore at working on it, we only do it when all three of us are online and don't run the risk of pulling out our hair or banging our heads fiercely on brick walls. I find alcohol helps to keep me calm and I'm less prone to hurting myself from sheer frustration.

The puzzles are harder the further you go in but you also find yourself over-thinking a lot of levels that are, in fact, so blindingly easy that I've had to bite my hand to keep myself from screaming and if I finish this game within the next 20 years I will feel like I've achieved something akin to what a monk feels when he has attained spiritual enlightenment.

If anyone decides to embark on this incredible journey of brain bending mind teasers, Jack, David and I offer our help up to the level we've achieved at the time of any request. There is another forum available but the hints are obscure and not really worth a damn and I promise we will be more helpful while still allowing you the high that comes with working shit out for yourself.
